CARTE BLANCHE #26

I survey myself from all angles, from every wound. I seek the vice, I dig for the fail. I wish I could wash my every gap, my every remnant, still messing with my soul. I wish I could fill my every flaw, my every breach, still hosting my tears.
I wish I could flee from my every thought, from my every nightmare, still leaking my mess.
I look at me from all ornament, through every layer. I spot the mistake, I lure the woman. I recognize my eye but my gaze has moved. I remember my lips but my smile is not the same.
I draw my shapes but my figure has changed.
It is both a blessing and a curse. I move through I move forward. I blend myself. I remember us.
I survey myself from all angles, from every wound. I look at me from all ornament, through every layer. Endlessly turning. Hopefully healing.
I want to change. I want to move. Become the next version of myself. Before time. Just’in(e) time.
Then I remember my smile changing with every gaze, my gaze shining with every smile, my shapes melting in my promises, are signs of time. Passing, flying, loving.
I remember those vices, fails, gaps, remnants, flaws, breaches, thoughts, nightmares, are me too. Are me overall.
And I don’t want to be anybody else than me.
I embrace my vices. I hold my fails. I tidy up my gaps and remnants, I leave them the room. I heal my flaws and breaches, I offer them a path. I sort my thoughts and nightmares, I give them shelter.
I wistfully smile. I hopefully gaze. I certainly melt. My heart glazes in the twilight.
I am me. Nobody else than me.
